Hello!
My name is Maeva Bi Youan. I am an aspiring CPA, actress, and screenwriter from Houston, Texas. I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the University of Texas at Dallas, with an expected graduation date of 2026. Due to my time as a barista at Starbucks I have gained some experience in customer facing positions and honed in on my customer service skills while simultaneously being in a fast paced work environment.
My Story
I have a passion for both numbers and storytelling. One of my main goals is dedicating myself to mastering accounting and earning my CPA license. My professional goal is to become a production accountant, merging my expertise in finance with my love for the creative world by working in film studios. Outside of my academic and career pursuits, I like to embrace my artistic side through acting, screenwriting, journaling, drawing, and volunteering at kpop/anime events. I strive to find not only a job but an industry within accounting that intertwines my two interests and makes me become more well rounded.
